Chilean Celeo transmits market tranquillity on debut

Chilean power transmission company Celeo Redes showed the bond market’s willingness to support first-time Latin American borrowers with a 30 year amortiser that bankers saw as coming tight to expectations.

Having spent a week on the road with BBVA, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, Celeo announced initial price thoughts of mid-5% area for a 2047 amortising senior secured bond with an average life of 21 years.
