AnaCap scoops up €177m of Italian loans from Barclays
Barclays has agreed to sell a pool of performing and non-performing corporate loans and small and medium sized enterprise loans with a book value of €177m to private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners.
The price paid for the portfolio has not been disclosed, but Barclays said on Tuesday that the transaction will reduce non-core risk weighted assets by a further £78m. The deal is expected to be closed in the second quarter of 2017.Barclays still has a residual mortgage portfolio ...
