Update: Shareholders support £100m Electra CB debut
Electra Private Equity made its convertible bond debut on Tuesday, raising £100m from a deeply subordinated seven year deal that gives it investment firepower without having to sell equity at a discount to its net asset value. It follows private equity funds SVG Capital and 3i into the convertible market. They sold £120m and £425m deals respectively in May 2008.
