US PP market on course for record year

The US private placement market is set to produce more than $50bn of deals this year, beating last year’s record of $46bn, according to Royal Bank of Scotland, writes Jon Hay. Optimism in the market is high following the biggest ever deal and the highest weekly issuance last week.
