(201210) -- BRUSSELS, Dec. 10, 2020 (Xinhua) -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen (R) talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson before their meeting in Brussels, Belgium, Dec. 9, 2020. The European Union (EU) and Britain will come to a decision on a post-Brexit trade deal by the end of the coming weekend, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tweeted Wednesday evening after meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Brussels. The lack of clarity over whether the UK and the EU will clinch a trade deal before the end of the year also makes it harder for those in financial markets to know whether equivalence decisions will be granted for the trading obligations for derivatives (DTO) and shares (STO).
