Argentina's economy is to report its fourth consecutive year of expansion in 2006, with 6% growth, but with inflation rate of 13%, Banco Rio said.
Argentina's GDP growth will be boosted by both consumption and investment. GDP growth will be even bigger if national exports do not slow due to droughts, that are could affect agricultural output. Decreased shipments wouldreduce the trade surplus by 3% to US$11 billion.
