Companies in Greece have worked exceptionally hard since 2008 to restructure, refinance, cut costs and assets and keep going. Many have fallen, but most of Greece’s leading firms have survived and emerged more competitive, thanks to their own efforts, continued support from banks and the lifeline thrown by the high yield bond market.
