BNP Paribas has made a couple of hires to boost its credit team. The French bank has hired Brian Hannon, high-yield and distressed trader at Imperial Capital, as a high-yield trader, and Jim Bolger, managing director in credit trading at Bear Stearns, has joined as a director and senior financials trader.
A BNP Paribas spokeswoman said Hannon reports to John Agnew, head of high-yield trading, while Bolger reports to Dan Brereton, head of U.S. credit flow trading. Bolger and Hannon both declined comment and officials from Bear and Imperial did not provide further information by press time.
