Stan Lim, who is believed to have worked in operations on the secondary loan trading side at JPMorgan, is leaving the bank to become a named partner at Sabharwal, Globus & Lim, formerly Herman, Sabharwal & Globus, a law firm that advises on legal issues related to the purchase and sale of distressed assets in the U.S. and abroad.
Lim was traveling and could not be reached. He had worked at the bank for six years. A bank spokeswoman declined comment. Richard Herman, the partner that left the law firm, will return to his own individual private practice, which is unrelated to distressed debt.
