Donahue leaves JP Morgan for Blackstone job
Timothy Donahue, JP Morgan’s head of structured leveraged finance in Asia Pacific, resigned last Friday, EuroWeek has learned. Donahue is to join Blackstone where he will run a soon-to-be established debt fund that will invest in high yielding products, bankers said.
He will follow a similar route to ex-colleague Eric Mason who was co-head of leveraged finance in Asia Pacific alongside Donahue before he left to start Carlyles leveraged finance division in August 2007.
