Trafigura targets Asian lenders for $505m syndicated loan

Dutch commodities trader Trafigura launched a $505m one year loan on Monday through eight bookrunners in the first loan launched in the Asian loan market in two weeks.

The loan, which will refinance a $200m facility signed in November 2008, will be arranged by Agricultural Bank of China, ANZ, DBS Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp, United Overseas Bank and Westpac.
