Citi reveals shortlist of bidders for Bellsystem24: Permira, CVC, Bain

Permira, CVC Capital Partners and Bain Capital have been shortlisted for the second round of bids for Citi’s telemarketing firm Bellsystem24 in Japan.

Next round bids are due by the end of October where more detailed debt financing proposals will have to be included.

One banker expressed surprise that KKR, which worked on the bid alongside trading firm Itochu, failed to get into the next round.
