Bond investors back Popolare LT2

Banca Aletti, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and Nomura have already gathered over Eu1bn of orders for Banco Popolare’s 10 year bullet lower tier two issue at the whisper of 325bp area over mid-swaps. The sale comes after the bank’s announcement of a Eu2bn capital increase, set to launch in the new year. To find out whether that is what caught investors’ attention and who might be next, read EuroWeek on Friday.
