DBS loan spurs Power Seraya to shortlist five

Temasek Holdings put the sale of Singapore power generating company Power Seraya back on track this week as it shortlisted five bidders and DBS agreed to provide financing for the deal.

China’s CLP Holdings, Bahrain investment bank Arcapita, Malaysia’s YTL Power, Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries and Keppel Corp are leading the five consortia chosen after the first round, a banker close to the deal said.
