Abengoa issues Eu50m tap vindicating books’ strategy

Abengoa, the unrated Spanish engineering and alternative energy conglomerate, this week priced a Eu50m tap of a Eu250m bond — its debut issue — which it issued last week.

The issuer had intended to issue Eu300m last week, but at the pricing levels it could achieve after what had been a tricky marketing process it opted for Eu250m instead.
