SBI makes euro debut with Eu750m senior bond
State Bank of India sold its first euro-denominated benchmark bond on Monday, raising Eu750m ($1.10bn) from what was a rare issue in the currency from any India bank.
Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered and UBS arranged the issue, and took funding officials from the bank to meet investors throughout Europe on a roadshow that finished at the end of last week. They priced the Eu750m 10 year deal to yield 235bp
