New investment banking senior roles at Daiwa

Daiwa Capital Markets has boosted its Asian investment banking arm further by creating three new senior management roles this month.

The appointments are the latest moves in the Japanese bank’s Asian expansion plan started last year.

Mathew Welch becomes managing director, head of banks, financial institutions group, investment banking of the ex-Japan Asia region and will be based in Singapore. He will report to Tom Jackamo who in turn ...
