Bain gains upper hand until Friday on Bellsystem24 LBO

Bain Capital has won temporary exclusive bidding rights for the $1.4bn-$1.6bn acquisition of Japanese telemarketing firm BellSystem24, giving the private equity firm a short-term advantage lasting until today (Friday).

After the exclusivity runs out, the floor will be opened to the other two bidders, Permira, and CVC Capital Partners and Blackstone, which are teaming up.

Final bids for the one of the region’s biggest leveraged buy-outs of the year were received last Friday.
