Etisalat Egypt completes E£7.2bn loan

Forestry group Metsälitto Cooperative has signed a new Eu425m credit facility to refinance an outstanding Eu560m line set to mature next year.

Egypt’s third largest mobile phone operator will receive 76% of the funding in Egyptian pounds while the rest will be provided in dollars. The banks participating in the facility include National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
