Mizuho moves syndicate head to build HK team

Mizuho Securities Asia plans to launch a revamped debt capital markets platform in Hong Kong, and is relocating its head of debt syndicate from Japan to assess the market.

Yutaka Fukushi, general manager of the debt syndication department in Tokyo, is moving to Hong Kong to take over its small DCM team. Around two people are responsible for debt deals in Hong Kong. Fukashi will grow this team, though a target size has not yet been set.
