Hongkong Electric returns with delayed debut

Hongkong Electric has come back to investors with a $500m debut dollar bond, after market volatility forced the issuer to pull the deal at the end of November.

HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Chartered are managing the 10 year bond, and approached investors with price talk around 140bp over Treasuries on Monday — in line with guidance on the original deal.
