China Auto Systems cancels IPO

China Auto Systems Technologies, the car air-conditioning manufacturer, has become the latest company to cancel its Hong Kong IPO due to the current state of the market.

China Auto Systems was set to raise up to HK$760m ($98m) from its share offering but fell victim to “excessive market volatility” and a “deterioration in market conditions”, according to a company announcement through the Hong Kong stock exchange.
