Genpact gets $380m after senior syndication
Indian outsourcer Genpact is wrapping up a $380m loan to finance its acquisition of US-based IT consultant Headstrong. The company attracted nine banks in senior syndication — despite surprising some bankers with its aggressive pricing.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, JP Morgan and UBS ran the deal, which has a four year tenor. Banks were invited to join the deal on commitments of $38m for an all-in of 205.6bp, a level that some bankers felt was too tight.
