Crédit Agricole hires Delafon to push corporate bonds
Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank has hired Hugues Delafon as head of debt capital markets corporate origination Europe. Based in Paris, he reports to Tim Hall, global head of DCM origination. Delafon replaces Julien Lefournier, who has moved to a new role in the bank’s fixed income markets management.
Delafon joins from The Corporate Funding Association, where he was a founding partner. The association is a project, begun after the credit crunch, to found a new corporate bank owned by industrial companies.
Before that, Delafon worked in Dresdner Kleinwort Wassersteins debt origination business, which he joined in May
