Kodak and American deny bankruptcy, three others default
Three US companies defaulted in the week from September 29 to October 5, according to the weekly global default update from Standard & Poor’s. And it was a week in which two fallen angels also had to deny bankruptcy rumours.
Bonds of Eastman Kodak and American Airlines parent AMR Corp plummeted on reports that they might file for bankruptcy, which were denied by the management teams of both companies.
"Kodak is committed to meeting all of its obligations and has no intention of filing for bankruptcy," the company said
