Nan Fung pulls back early losses to close tighter on debut

Hong Kong developer Nan Fung International, which raised $350m from the sale of five year bonds at the end of last week, made its trading debut on Monday. The notes quickly traded wider on their Asian debut on Monday as sentiment turned sour following the European downgrades -- but Nan Fung soon bucked the trend and closed the day well inside reoffer.

The bonds moved 5bp-10bp wider during morning trading, moving in line with the overall market. But they soon defied the market to close the Asian trading session at around 450bp over Treasuries, some 10bp inside of where they priced.
