Mining company finds demand for Mongolia from bond buyers
Mongolian Mining Corp has generated strong interest on its first visit to the international bond market. It is the second issuer from Mongolia this year after Development Bank of Mongolia (DBM).
The deal quickly generated around $1bn of orders only hours after the books were opened on Wednesday. The bookrunners were planning to take orders from investors in London and New York before returning to Asian accounts, and aimed to price the deal on Thursday in New York.
