Ahmed chosen to run CIB for Citi in the Philippines

Citi has given its head of Islamic banking in Asia a job running its corporate and investment bank in the Philippines, asking Usman Ahmed to replace Kristine Braden, who is moving to the global subsidiaries business.

Ahmed is now Citi’s head of global Islamic banking and chief operating officer for Asia Pacific corporate banking, but while he will keep the former post, the US bank is planning to replace him in the COO position.
