Julius Baer hires trio from Merrill Lynch

The Swiss wealth manager appoints Lawrence Lua as managing director and senior adviser in Singapore, along with Frances Lee as relationship manager and Kelli Chng as assistant. More Merrill staff are expected to follow.

Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer has announced the appointment of Lawrence Lua and two members of his team from Merrill Lynch in Singapore, with further hires expected.

Lua has been named as managing director and senior adviser in the city-state with immediate effect.
