Dollar bond issuance hits record high in July
Pent-up demand amid the second quarter has led to sky-high levels of US dollar bond issuance this month. Debt experts believe more deals will occur into early August, before a brief two-week lull.
US dollar bond issuance from Asia ex-Japan hit a record high for July, as borrowers took advantage of improving conditions to unleash a barrage of debt funding.
The month has so far seen 27 US dollar bonds executed, for a total of US$8.36 billion, according to data provider
