PetroVietnam waits for Taiwanese, mulls loan increase

PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corp is waiting for a few more banks to commit to its $210m loan before it makes a decision over whether to increase the size of the deal.

The bookrunners have had discussions with the borrower about when it wants to close the loan — which was due to happen this week — but they are still waiting for officials at the company to make a decision.
