Credit Suisse hires India fixed income sales chief

The Swiss bank has hired Sanjay Singh from Standard Chartered as its head of fixed income sales for India. The move is part of it aggressive expansion plans since the banks received its Indian bank branch licence in August.

Credit Suisse has hired Sanjay Singh from Standard Chartered Bank to head up its fixed income sales in India, according to people aware of the situation. This is a new role for the firm.
