Taiwan corporate bond issuance set for growth: S&P
Corporate bond and debenture issuance from the country could reach pre-credit crunch levels for the remainder of the year, Standard & Poor’s predicts. But the rating agency does not expect to see too much investor interest in lower-rated corporate bonds.
Rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) hopes Taiwanese corporate bond and debenture issuance could reach pre-crisis levels on the back of relatively healthy figures in the first half of this year. This is despite of increased investor concern over a double-dip recession.
