Chien Huey racks up demand from Taiwan banks

Land Bank of Taiwan has secured commitments from seven banks for Chien Huey Industrial Corp’s NT$1.2bn ($40.4bn) loan, which was priced at 133bp over the Taiwan interbank offered rate.

The sole bookrunner pitched the dual-tranche facility only to Taiwanese banks, raising funds to help the gas provider refinance an old loan. The bank closed syndication in January and finalised allocations early this month.
