Prime U.S. automobile asset-backed securities losses hit record lows thanks to strong used vehicle values and an improving economy, according to Fitch Ratings.

Prime U.S. automobile asset-backed securities losses hit record lows thanks to strong used vehicle values and an improving economy, according to Fitch Ratings. Fitch reports that prime auto loan ABS delinquencies and annualized net losses fell 24% and 11%, respectively, in March from the preceding month.
