Mærsk finds sterling the right home for unrated 12yr
AP Møller-Mærsk, the Danish shipping group, made its debut in the sterling bond market this week, with a successful 12 year issue that exploited UK investors’ thirst for long-dated paper.
"This was a fantastic credit for the market," said a banker at one of the leads, Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland and Santander. "We thought the sterling investors would really appreciate a name like this. UK investors have been pretty instrumental in its euro deals."
