Gas transporter’s 15 year blows away Peru corps record
Transportadora de Gas del Perú (TGP) became the latest Peruvian company to take advantage of international debt markets for the first time, selling the largest ever bond from a corporate in the country.
Baa2/BBB/BBB rated TGP attracted $3bn of demand, allowing it to print $850m of 2028 notes as planned. After releasing initial price thoughts in the mid-4% area, the borrower sold the bond at par with a coupon of 4.25%, or 230bp over Treasuries.
