Maturity matters as Denmark joins Nordic spree
Denmark will aim to follow the success of fellow Nordic borrower Kommuninvest on Wednesday with a three year dollar deal. It has picked a copycat Reg S/144A offering, which it hopes will also share in common the rabid demand for its Swedish counterpart, rather than the under-subscription that Inter-American Development Bank’s seven year global suffered on Tuesday.
Denmark has opened books on its trade with guidance of mid-swaps less 2bp. The mandate was announced on Tuesday with initial price thoughts also set at 2bp through mid-swaps. Lead managers Barclays, Danske, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley expect to price it later on Wednesday.
