Bank of America is stepping up its plan to reduce its workforce by 30,000 by the end of 2013, eliminating some 16,000 positions by the end of this year.

Bank of America is stepping up its plan to reduce its workforce by 30,000 by the end of 2013, eliminating some 16,000 positions by the end of this year. The reduction will make Wells Fargo the U.S. bank with the largest staff.
