Banks line up for SingTel S$1.8bn

A handful of banks have obtained credit approvals to commit to SingTel Group’s fundraising of S$1.8bn ($1.4bn), according to a banker.

The loan is arranged by the telecommunications company, which has predominantly invited only those lenders involved in its 2011 club loan of S$2.16bn, which matures this June.
