North Atlantic Drilling sells unrated HY bond at wide end

North Atlantic Drilling, the Norwegian offshore drilling company, priced its high yield bond at the wide end of guidance on Tuesday. The $600m of 2019 notes came at 6.25%.

Bookrunners Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley had released guidance in the 6%-6.25% area on Friday.

The proceeds of the unrated, unsecured bond will be used to repay early a $500m 7.75% unsecured bond due 2018 issued by North Atlantic Drilling to Seadrill.
