Norges gets €280m for EDF stake in first public block
Norges Bank sold a €280m stake in utility company Électricité de France (EDF) on Wednesday evening, in what was the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund's first block trade in public markets.
UBS managed the sale of 13m shares, representing 0.7% of the company, as Norges looks to sell the actively-run parts of its portfolio. It sold the shares for €21.50 each, a 3.3% discount to Wednesday's close.
