ECM considers adding lev loans to multi-asset fund

ECM Asset Management, the London-based investment firm owned by Wells Fargo, has entered discussions with its partners to enable its multi-asset credit fund to buy leveraged loans.

ECM’s European Diversified Credit (EDC) fund is not yet able to invest in leveraged loans, Henrietta Pacquement, portfolio manager for ECM’s diversified portfolios, said at a press briefing on November 19. But the investment fund is exploring avenues to start doing so, Pacquement added.
