European high yield ETFs still small, but growing fast

European high yield exchange-traded funds have increased their assets under management by €630m this year, underlining the slow but steadily growing importance of ETFs in the European high yield market.

The assets under management of European ETFs investing in euro fixed income have risen nearly threefold since the beginning of 2010, according to the CreditSights Credit ETF Tracker, from €4.9bn to €13.9bn at the end of October this year.
