Peabody pockets £250m, two more HA bonds to come
Peabody Trust, one of the UK’s oldest social housing institutions, priced its sixth bond issue on Thursday, a £250m 40 year deal, plus £100m of extra bonds that Peabody retained for sale later.
Despite the lateness of the season, Peabody achieved a strong sale via Barclays and Lloyds, after a roadshow at the beginning of this week. The spread was not especially tight, but good enough for this time of year.
