Finland’s Metsä Board repays €150m early

Metsä Board Corp, the Finnish paper and pulp maker owned by Metsä Group, has prepaid a €150m term loan issued last year as part of a €500m refinancing package.

The original maturity date for the tranche had been June 30, 2014.

The other two tranches issued in May 2012 – a €350m term loan maturing in March 2016 and a €100m undrawn revolver maturing in May 2015 – remain unchanged.
