Judge OKs $1.2 Bln ResCap MBS Settlement

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn has approved a settlement, in which Residential Capital’s bankruptcy estate will pay the Federal Housing Finance Agency $1.2 billion to resolve claims linked to mortgage-backed securities sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
