BondMarker results: Ireland stands alone

The BondMarker voters have spoken. The results are in for last week's solitary benchmark from Ireland.

The Golden Week holiday in Asia kept most borrowers out of the market, but Ireland braved the market alone, selling its first five year bond for five years. 

Ireland's boldness in hitting screens in a quiet week was rewarded with high scores across the board, particularly in the "timing" category, where the issuer received a nine. The borrower's worst score — still a respectable seven — came in the "quality of the investor book" category.
