Engie extends extensive green curve with treble
Engie, the French energy utility, priced its second green bond transaction of 2017 on Tuesday. The longest tranche of its three tranche offering extended the issuer’s green bond curve by nearly 10 years.
The A2/A- rated company sold its first green bonds in May 2014, when it was still known as GDF Suez. The €2.5bn six and 12 year combination was the largest green bond deal at the time
